STLREIA has decided to restart our monthly networking lunches. If you have been a part of our organization for a while, you might remember the lunches held at Applebee’s restaurant in Creve Coeur. We’ll be returning there for monthly networking lunches on the first Monday of the month. Please join us and meet up with old and new friends, with whom you can connect to swap information, get advice, find new deals, or possibly sell those properties you’re currently thinking of listing.

The STLREIA™ is an excellent organization for anyone who owns investment real estate or wants to own real estate.  There is something for everyone, from the experienced investor to the first time buyer.  The monthly meetings are well run, informative and fun.  There is an excellent mix of speakers from the local experts to the national gurus.  There are also plenty of opportunities to network with those who know more than you, as well as the opportunity for you to share your expertise in mentoring others.  The monthly newsletters are an added bonus and are filled with interesting articles and tidbits. Having been a member of several REIAs in various cities, I highly recommend this one!  Come early to attend the monthly help clinics, and ask about the networking lunches.

I like the STLREIA™ meetings because there are great speakers who can help you in any aspect of real estate. My mom is a real estate investor and obviously knows much more about real estate than I do but we both get great ideas out of each of the meetings. It is not often that an organization translates into so many benefits.  However, the STLREIA™ is such an organization.  We joined and have been very pleased. The mini help sessions allow for a broad base of information covering many relevant topics regarding the "joys" of being in the home rental business. Topics can range from great bargains for appliances, materials, or great contractors to how to deal with pets, pest, or poor tenants.  We always enjoy the main speaker as well. We have learned many helpful tips even though we have been in the rental business for 25 yrs. The best part about being a member of STLREIA™ is that all the great tips generally translate into some cost saving measure or a way to increase your income.  And lastly, the monthly newsletter is wonderful. It's a win win situation.  We live 150 miles south of St. Louis and though we can't make every meeting, we find every trip rewarding.
