Whether you are a QuickBooks newbie or a seasoned user, you can learn from a Certified QuickBooks instructor how to fine tune your accounting regardless of the version of QuickBooks you are using and have your business questions answered by an on-site CPA.

The seminar will be broken into two sessions.  Come to one or both:

8:30 – 12:00 p.m :

Accounting concepts:

  • Understanding basic accounting concepts & why it matters.

  • Setting up your company (rentals vs. fix & flips, etc.)
  • Chart of accounts
  • Reading & understanding the basics of your financial information.

  • Tips & tricks to make it easy and quick to maintain you records

  • How to record purchases of rental property versus fix & flip projects
  • Tips & tricks to make it easy & quick to maintain your records
  • How to do accounting for a partnership project vs. joint ventures
  • Setting up “in-house” property management.
  • When to set up multiple companies
